Letter 'S' 18.03.10
This weeks typo ditty is brought to you by the pizza joint opposite Manly Wharf, it's been there forever but I can't remember it's name. Anyway it's signage is second to none and it really does put the 'hand' back into 'hand lettering'!

Echidna 07.03.10
Not quite the 'World Around Us' shot I'd hoped for!
Must have been quite a sight, me legging it through the bush and this little fellow scampering for cover. Over 20 yards I recon they're as fast as a rabbit!

Fat Font with Stars 01.03.10
About: iPhone Camera
With the 80's all the rage, perhaps its time for a few stars in your company logo.
The building this wonderful example of an 80's 'multiplex cinema' (I think it had 4 screens) is soon to be lost and the logo with it.
I can remember the logo shining bright and full of optimism, when the red carpet inside had a crisp feel under foot and the seats were the best in town.
I'll be looking out for this sign on eBay.

MCA Eliasson Exhibition 28.02.10

About: iPhone ToyCamera App
Take your time: Olafur Eliasson. Gathering works from major collections worldwide, it spans Eliasson’s diverse career from 1993 to the present, including installations, sculpture and photography. It is the first large-scale exhibition of works by this Danish-Icelandic artist to be presented in Australia.
From light-filled environments to walk-in kaleidoscopes, Eliasson’s unique, experiential works explore the intersection between nature and science, and the boundary between the organic and the artificial.
